The whites, yolks, and even the shell can all be consumed by your dog. They contain high levels of protein and naturally-occurring vitamin D. There’s also a high amount of calcium in the shells (they can be ground up into a powder) that helps keep bones and teeth strong.
They’re also good sources of iron, vitamin E, selenium, zinc, riboflavin, and fatty acids. Because a dog’s digestive system is so short, they can even eat raw eggs. Harmful bacteria like E, coli or salmonella don’t have the necessary time to infect your dog, so raw eggs can be eaten.
Dogs can most certainly eat eggs, and all parts! Yolks, whites, shells, cooked, or raw, all are good for your dog.
